my system:
P4 1.6/256MB/ASUS P4T-E/TNT2/3COM 100MBit

my problem:
SFP3.1a just 'disappears' after doing some sound-prog-installs.
i reinstalled about 5 or 6 times now and it's always the same - i tried installing the progs it in different order, like:
1. win2000-SFP3.1a-cubaseSX-reason-VSTis-plugins- and sometimes i experience, that i need to close SFP to be able to contunue with an VSTi-installation-..done that, continued and then i'm not able anymore to start SFP or uninstall it - the .exe's stay active in memory but nothing happens!!!

win2000-all the progs-SFP3.1a - nothing works! ...because i can't install SFP

plz gimme a hint! i don't wanna reinstall a thousand times...

gonna do my next win2000 installation with the hints of subhuman - thanks by the way...

Those hints will be a little helpful; there are a bunch more I plan on adding to that at some point but I fear I won't get to that for you this time around...

One thing to remember is you must close SFP to use XTC mode before starting Cubase. I would suggest not using XTC mode, and having your ASIO drivers in your project, while starting the Cubase install....
