Just got my upgrade (an xtc board)
When XP pro want´s to install the driver "Pulsar2" , it ends up with e message like "incorrect data"
I even tried removing my othercards (luna & Pulasr2) but still can´t install.
Is my new board dead on arrival ?

System:
Win XP Pro/ SFP3.1a/Cubase Sx/Midex8/ 1x Luna, 1x Pulsar2,1x Pulsar xtc / P III 1000/512 2cl RAM/CUSL2-C/Winfast Pro DH/

Trey installing the driver manually, and choose to select a device yourself from the list. Maybe CW DSP card or PulsarSRB will do the trick...

Goodluck!

Thank you,
but i already tried this:
fx choosing "Creamware DSP bord" in manual installation causes XP to reboot
of course i have tried several slots...

the interesting thing: after installation tries the card show up in the hardware manager as "Multimedia device" with a yellow question sign??
And: you can´t remove it!

Got it working

Well that was a wierd one:
after several useless tries i decided to go for a fresh WinXP install: the two pulsar cards installed fine. but when i added the LUNA: same prob again.
So i started from scratch again , put the Luna in first: works.
Added the 2 pulsar boards: works.

So it was depending on the order i put the cards in.

strange...
