Yesterday I bought my new pIII 1mhz with asus cusl 2 'cause my k7 with its motherboard with chipset via didn' work(wordclock problems with A16) but the same thing appens!I hear horribles scratches and no sound!
Does anybody has my pc configuration and has no problem?
What may I do?
pc:
P3 1000mhz
asus cusl-2
voodoo 4

I have just upgraded to CUSL2-c and 1ghz PII too. Not had one problem with my pulsar once I ensured it was on an interrupt by itself.

i bought the same configuration as yours two days ago , works fine for me , from the first time.
did you build the machine yourself ? or it came ready from the store ?
another idea is your ram , how many dimms , which frequency , and the most important - are they all from the same brand ?
i didn't did too much with my new pc so far , but it looks it works much better.

what operating system do you use?
that sounds like my last try to get elite force voyager running on my music machine on the second ME-partition... as i installed the game then on the 98se-partition everything was fine again...
(though, my pulsar2 runs perfectly under winME on intel)

windows 98 second edition , pulsar ii , no a16 , ati rage iic and after that i replaced to riva tnt 16 , don't know about win me.
