Hi,

I have a point of view twinview card.
In the devicemanager the card has a exclamationmark. The statusbox says: This device cannot start (code 10).

In the advancedsettings for the graficscard you reach by rightclicking the desktop there is an ikon that reads: VGAsafe. The "devices in conflict" box says that there are conflicts with the "procssor to AGP controller" device. (in/out interval and memory interval)

I have installed the latest drivers from nvidia.

Sorry if I'm expressing myself unclear. I'm using a swedish version and have to translate the messages.

Thankful for any advice that might help me solve the problem.

hmm...Have you got the latest XP drivers for this card? Btw.: Do not install Windows XP on a system which uses components older than half a year.

If you are using an athlon system make sure tzhe total amouint of cards / components do not exceed 4.

Did you install windows Xp in standard pc mode? If not - format c: and reinstallation, becuase not all components /boards do really support ACPI steering.

Thanks for the advice.

I managed to solve the problem after some tweaking in bios. I found a faq for the card and it had a list of preferred biossettings. I had figured that since it worked in win98 there wouldn't be any need to change anything in bios...

I installed xp as standard pc.

I have installed XP on several systems with components older than half a year, even some BX boards.

the thing is just make sure there are drivers, especially if you have more unusual hardware. (you know..like pulsar :)
