i'm getting more advanced with my project setups and have started routing some of my external gear into the Pulsar environment through an Alesis AI3 adat convertor. it is at this point that i want to start trying some of the processors and effects on the input signal in real time. can anyone recommend a quality compressor (stereo or mono) that i could cable between the adat module and the bigmixer?

cheers JD

The stereo and mono and sidechain compressors in the AUX effects should be good enough to use. I'm sure they come with the PulsarII software. I have them there.
All the best

Check out the <a href = "http://www.orbitone.org/prodeffects.htm">orbitone impressor bundle.</a>

Includes single band with side chain and built in band separator, 4-band version and lite impressors. Can be used for compression, mastering, limiting, expanding, de-essing, gating, etc.

I love the SonicTimeworks Compressors, I use CompressorX quite a bit. I still want to get some time with the Orbitone Compressor as I have their Synchrome V2 and it's really great.
