Hi all,

I'm having some trouble getting my rewire running correctly. As I am supposed to do I first launch Cubase before I launch anything else. Once that is done I then launch Reason. No prob so far, signals running and sound is coming out of reason into cubase. Now I launch rebirth and suddenly no sound anymore, not from reason nor rebirth??? Upon closing reason and rebirth I launch rebirth first this time. Now I get sound from rebirth into cubase. When launching reason after that all sound disappears again.

I thought that with the rewire stuff reason-rebirth-cubase should work correctly together? Or am I wrong?

Anybody has experienced this? If so then how did you solve your problem, can you even solve it?

A quite educated guess would be that you can only use 1 rewire "slave" at once.
I think so but i'm not sure.

That's the best bet... you can't use rebirth and Reason together via rewire... it can't handle that may rewire channels

I have used the REASON / REBIRTH / CUBASE combination with no problems. I think it depends on which order you installed the apps but my rewire panel inside CUBASE used to show REBIRTH channels followed by REASON ones.

Failing this, you could always export the audio from REBIRTH and import it into CUBASE.

Or switch CUBASE off and try running the REBIRTH INPUT MACHINE from inside REASON, then export audio from both to CUBASE.
