A device ID has been that is out of range for your system.

What does this indicate ????
I have the default startup.pro that sfp installs, tryed other setings but no go...

Why is Setting up Xp so hard with pulsar...

Perhaps you have another sound application open which has already grabbed your first wave device. I have 3 wave devices in my default project, and BTW had literally zero problems setting up XP with SFP - so it is easy in many(and hopefully most?) cases.

I'll check that out with the 3 wave sourses.
