Hello,
I have big problem:

I used Pulsar I card with 2.04 software and Win 98SE. Everything was OK.
Now, I reinstalled OS to Windows ME and then installed Pulsar drivers and software
from CD-ROM 2.04. But after reboot, system announced:

,,Instalation error - Hardware version 15 detected. This hardware requires a software
update´´ and then ,,Cannot start Pulsar without hardware´´

And in Device Manager I have two devices (Pulsar, Future Scope). I also tried to use
older versions of drivers but problem was still the same.

Thanks for any help

Peter

Are you sure you are using the drivers from 2.01 or higher? That's the error you get when you have an older version of the driver, with a more modern Pulsar OS.

I've had Pulsar I running perfectly on Win98SE and Win98ME, so I know it's very much possible. The main difference is, I only have 2.01 FULL, and then I apply 2.04a update.

Be SURE that the drivers you're using are the more recent ones (I think it should be June 2000 or later? Not at home to check my Pulsar drivers right now, will edit this post later when I find out)

Yes, I´m sure I´m using drivers higher then 2.01 (becouse everything I installed from original CD from Creamware, and on this CD is written version 2.04). But I must admit that I didn´t try to install from this CD in WIN 98 before, becouse I had upgrades from Internet and this new CD I got on Music Messe in Frankfurt. Is it possible, that this new CD has bad drivers ? I think it isn´t. I don´t know, what can I do ?
