This file, XTCProject.pro, stores the project used in XTC mode. It comprises, amongst others, one device caled "merge" and another one called "DirectPlayContainer". These devices cannot be load from anywhere else and have to be connected in a very special manner depending on the IOs that one has. This file and its devices were there in all versions of Pulsar2/Pulsar XTC that had XTC mode. The file gets configurated during the software setup, sometimes correctly, mostly not. Now, to my question:
Does somebody know why in hell's and heaven's name CreamWare does not provide any kind of information to this file and to these devices, neither in the software manuals, nor in any readme files nor in the FAQs on their site? Are they actually kidding us? Or do they completely overestimate their setup program and are not aware of that xtc mode gets misconfigurated in many, many cases? The best: owners of Pulsar XTC were NEVER able to edit the ProjectXTC.pro, not only because there was absolutely no information as how to do this, but also because the project editor was not compatibel with the file and would not load it. My question again: are they kidding us? The SFP editor is able to edit the file now. But where is the information what to do? Again: are they kidding us? Guess they are.

Perhaps this has to do with the problem, that the latency is not remembered in Cubase VST PC when using XTC Mode!!!
