The registration module is driving me nuts!

I had to put in 10 of them when I installed the SFP and then I wasn't done because after running the platform other modules required aditional numbers. Even the dynamixer requires a registration which I got from the Scope.rgy file and although the stupid registration module said "Import succeed" (note the bad english), it still would not give me the dynamic mixer and I had to get one from the old Pulsar Mixers folder.

I HATE THE FREAKING REGISTRATION MODULE!

CW PLEASE READ THIS!!!!!

I did an installation of the full Scope product - the last one in the list- and used the allkeys.skf file and it worked. Although, as already reported, a lot of other stuff that I don't own was also installed.
I also had the same trouble with the Dynamic Mixer and did the same as you... copied it from my 3.0.1 installation.
I didn't think about looking in the scope.rgy file.
I have emailed creamware regarding another problem with the Mac version of the software.
See the thread with the typo
SPF doesn't quite work on Macintosh

I'm thinking a lot of people are going to have this problem. It's very frustrating for me. This is much worse than a small bug.

Because of Creamware's paranoid fear of piracy many of us have to suffer and waste creamware support's valuable time and ours. They have designed this terribly annoying and flawed registration module at the expense of customer sastisfaction. It has had serious problems for a long time not just in the SFP and I am getting fed up with it.

I agree with you, it's been quite frustrating at times.... Great product and couldn't be without it, but come on guys!!!!

I agree that creamware have to protect themselves, but they can't even supply a device rego file with the correct name for Mac-Users. You have to manually change the name of the files so that they end in .oxe - how hard would it be to just make the file end in .oxe in the first place?

Well, the install was a breeze for me. The allkeys file worked perfect for me.
No probs here installation wise.

But I'm having a few graphical glitches in standard mode under win2K. Once even locked up SFP and had to kill the SFP task then restart to fix!!?? Still playing around but I won't be getting rid of the win98 and 3.01 partition yet.

I am probably going to use Windows 98 for years to come (with a dual boot system), also I don't have to go out and buy the latest computer every 6 months. I figure if it works why complicate things by switching? and besides from what I am told creamware cards function best under windows 98.
