I installed SFP on XP in the hope that and old problem would go away!

When I run Logic (v5 - although v4.8 has the same problem) I get a MIDI error on start-up (the one which gives you the option to disable the driver etc.) which tells me there is a problem with pulsars driver #2.

So I can only ever have one sequencer out working in my pulsar setup.

This is a nightmare!!

any help on this from anyone would be great.

Laterz

Yeah sounds like a nightmare. I dream of Logic Error boxes. Anyway...

Do you have 2 sequencer source modules in your CW project? If not, add them both into the project before starting Logic.

Check your Creamware driver settings for MIDI ports in the Control Panel. You can set up to 8 internal midi ports here.

Finally, you can edit which ports Logic looks for by default with the win.ini file, and setting the port causing trouble to "0" from "1". Find the Win.INI file on your harddisk and look inside it, then this last bit should be more clear than if you just read it.

If I only use one midi in and out, is it ok to just type in 1 in each of the appropriate boxes in Pulsar properties? I get those MIDI error as well from time to time

I'm pretty sure that my project has 2 sequencer source modules, yet I still gat the error.

I'll double check this when I get home and keep you posted!

I have to say - SFP rocks
