i had the famous PCI overflow error... expecially when i were using a reverb (also in very simple projects) and there was no chance, even by lowering MaxPCchannels parameter, as suggested in the manual
NOW i downloaded and installed the latest driver VIA 4in1 that you can find at asus website.
THINGS ARE GOING VERY VERY VERY WELL!!!! i was able to run a complex project (mixer+effects+reverb) while playing from cakewalk and gigasampler and recording the mixdown in soundforge!!!!
Good luck to all!

Can you load a BigMixer, STS4000 Sampler (8 or more voices) and a Timeworks EZ/4080 Verb?

That's the true test, a basic workhorse project for a PulsarI. I have yet to see it work on a KX133 chipset (I'd say impossible), but heard a few people were lucky enough to get it working on a KT133.

Which reverb are you using? Cos the stock Creamware one doesn't push the PCI bus very much.

the test was OK!
i used STS3000 with 32 voices of poliphony (8 instruments at once), timeworks ezverb (the only onw commercial plugs i have) and a bigmixer.

Now add another EZVerb, or a single Delay effect with everything you already have loaded, loaded still. The delay may fit, but I bet it pukes on the second EZVerb.

How many audio channels are you able to stream off your harddisk with the BigMixer+EZVerb+STSx000 (16+ voices)? On my CUSL2, I am able to run 38 (different) audio channels (.WAV) off my 7200RPM HD, with these devices loaded.

Try that and report back :]

( you won!
but for now i've no money to change my mobo....
still i'm happy because, at least, i can use ONE reverb, and perhaps all the owner of via kt133 now can!
