How do I connect my Lexicon MPX500 to my Luna card using SPDIF. I've got the right cable to connect the in/out of lexicon to the 1/4" spdif jack on the back of the powersampler. But can not get it to work.
Which one needs to be the master /slave, does anyone have a .pro project file with this combo of reverb and luna card.

Luna is slave in this situation... You're doing a loopback setup?

When MPX-500 use digital in, it's automatically slave, so Luna can't be...
S/P-Dif loops are perferctly possible on sencond-generation Creamware cards...

Yes, i just tough it has a better sync when slaved, but if the other devices can't, well, master is ok i suppose. I never tried it actually.

1/4" spdif?

The Luna has a minijack Spdif I/O. The 1/4" jacks are Analogue IO.

To do an effects loop you will need a stereo minijack -> twin phono connections with spdif quailty cable.

I've one on order so when it arrives Ill let you know how I get on.

Sorry thats what I meant a minijack Spdif I/O.I'll try with the lexicon as master and the luna as slave.

are you using a proper spdif minijack -> phono cable or just a regular audio minijack -> phono.

If you are using a regular audio one make sure it is really short, a poor quality audio cable will give you dreadful clicks. Its best to get a proper spdif cable.
