Hi. I'm just wondering what sort of differences exist between the two versions of the Luna software. I tried a LUNA II with the 2.51 software, and it seemed a little unstable while running DP3 and Reason. Is version 3 likely to be anymore stable. And is the GUI any better? What about the audio engine, and the driver efficency?
Basically, what improvements am I going to get with the later software?
Any help appreciated by this prospective Creamware convert.

With the 3.0 Software you are getting a much bigger software-package including the pretty good masterverb. What is more important, you get free access to the forthcoming SFP 3.1.
This is the new software for all Creamware cards (Pulsar, Scope, Luna..) wich we all await with great expectations.(When does it finally come out?) They say it is more stable and has a working win xp and xtc support. I can“t tell you that much about improvements of the audio-engine and driver effiency for I am one of the lucky ones who never had any bigger problems with my luna.
Go and get it!

I recently upgraded from 2.51 to 3.01 and I must say that the stability on my system has increased.
Oh and the MasterVerb is sweet
Remember, if you bought your Luna after October in 2001, you are entitled to a free v3 upgrade.
