I installed pulsar version 3 then updated to 3.01. After both restarts I got the two following message boxes:

1) "Hardware version 30 detected. This hardware requires a software update. Please consult the installation guide."

2)Could not gain access to the creamware hardware!.

What does this mean?
I have drivers 1.50.0.0 for win2k installed (as far as I can tell that's the latest version).

Cheers

Krip,
The 3.01 update includes an updated driver which you need to install. You should find it in the DRIVER folder under the 3.01 set-up files.
If you're missing the drivers you can download the 3.01 set-up files (including the drivers) at http://www.creamware.de/en/download/sof ... efault.asp
There's a readme file that comes with the update that explains how to use Device Manager to update the driver to v3.01.

And make sure you get Windoze SP2 when you're on Win2k...
