> It is intended for traking a voice on top of it, so this is only the background song. Cheers...

I like this one even more!
It's like Weather Report having a bit of fun.
Only thing I can say is work a little more on your mix. All your elements are there.

Very smooth flow throughout the song. I like it very much. You're not going to play real bass into it? Also, I would have like the drop hit part to have some more attack. Maybe a different synth sound? The sin lead is really cute.

Thanks guys for your reply.
Paul, I think that your reply it's for the other song isn't it? You said: “it's like Weather Report having a bit of fun”, which is really hilarious to me, you made me laugh for a while…
Ken, I actually are playing my bass there. Listen again; you're going to hear clearly underneath. Perhaps, it's the equalization I've used that made you think it's a synth or a sample.
Please Ken, what is for you the :"drop hit part", what do you mean by that? I don't understand, I want to know to correct it.

You're right, Nestor. My reply should go in the "Second part" thread. At least you understood..

(When I posted the reply there were two threads with the same name....)

Actually, the first thought that comes to my mind as I listen to this is Ryuichi Sakamoto!
The drums are baaaaaaaad(sorry)
Is it my speakers or is the whole-tone bass run distorting(out of character for this style IMHO)
I REALLY like your use of harmony, Nestor. That high synth is a nice touch.
More More!

Paul, please, tell me what is specifically bad with the drum sounds. I would like to understand, realise what's wrong and correct it. It sounds quite good here. Tell me something please. Cheers

Perhaps I was hasty. Here, the hi-hats sounds way up front, way too loud.
I discovered that certain encoding software destroy frequencies that shouldn't be destroyed. It could be the encoding program that did this and pushed your hi-hats upstage. My program got rid of all my low-mids in the dance track I posted... Too bad we can't post WAV files...

No man, no hasty at all! We need for people to tell us what they REALLY THINK! This is the point.
Right, so too up front so too loud, hummm. It's probably the encode staff to some degree. But I think you're right about the hats being a bit too loud. I'll try to repair it, thanks Paul.

Oh, about the drop hit part, well, first you have the longer chords, then the sin lead comes in, then you have short chords that go down in half notes (I hear lots of on 9 bass tones in there). That's the part I'm talking about.
hey, and you're right about the bass in there.. it's so beautiful and melodious, I didn't think it was bass. Something that can only be executed with experience and technique.

Right, now I understand what you mean Ken. It's perhaps like that cos I intend to add some more staff onto it. The voice of course and a lead guitar that should do the job. I think... Cheers again

Howwww, yess... the song doesn't sound that way when you leasten it in Wav. Here the drum sounds like a empty can, neither I like it.
