Sounds like your computer is in... ACPI MODE

Did you read my previous posts in your other thread about XTC? Yes, it does work okay in WinXP, but please read what I wrote about your Luna+XTC together.

Hi Subhuman,

My pc is in Standard mode, but my XTC won't start, as you can see in the screenshoots, there are errors for the registration ... , and I'm not able to identify the problems!!

I think I must reinstall cubase vst to solve the problem, tomorrow I let you know if this solution solved my problem!

Thanks Subhuman, you are a realy good technician on pulsar matter!!

Regards

If you are SURE your computer is not in ACPI mode, then you should contact Creamware support and send that file to them with the screen shots in there, too. Could be faulty hardware...

Yes but the card is functioning with the synths, why does not go with cubase in xtc mode??

I don't want to work in XTC mode, as you've been wrote that isn't a good idea, I think too because of the latency, but I want only to get a try in XTC, only to see how does it work!

Thanks for the help!

Drum-Maker
I remember that in the setup of XTC you can choose the output for the xtc card, and I've choosed "My creamware card has no I/O", is that right? Because I use only Luna V3 for the outputs!!

Remember to close down Luna/Pulsar BEFORE opening Cubase if you're going to use XTC mode.

But as I've written in the other thread - installing the XTC software with a previous Luna version installed was probably not a good move. It will mess up your CW install probably.

Ok Subhuman, after Luna V3 installation I've installed Pulsar XTC and now Cubase Vst32 V5R1, and now I can load cubase without the initial errors, but now:

http://www.ticino.com/usr/jungle/errormessages2.doc

It says that the plugin had failed to install??!!

I think the XTC card is good, because i can see in luna V3 the DSP Load!!

And now ... I've NO IDEA ....

Please help me ....

Thanks

Ah... another question:

If I want to start in XTC mode, Must I uninstall the luna v3 software??

And in this case how can I handle the in and outputs?

First - your link doesn't work - fix it and bump your thread and I will take a look.

Nice you have Luna V3.01. Basically just install Luna V3.01 *last* after you install the XTC software.

If you get an error starting cubase, move the "lightwave.dll" out of your XTC folder.

Ok now the link is working...

ah just a question: Where are you from ??

I think Canada, I'm right?

In the xtc folder, there are no Lightwave.dll

Now I've reinstalled all...
First one Pulsar XTC then Luna V3, but I've the same problems as at the beginning of this thread!

I send this error at creamware...
Then ...
