Hi,
yesterday I changed my soyo motherboards with via chipset 'cause I hadn't be able to sync my pulsar 1 with A16.I bought a asus cusl2 with p3 1000mhz 'cause everybody told me is the best motherboard to use with pulsar,but after installing win98se and pulsar software and driver(2.04) all work as before I changed my motherb.(i hear many clip and sound stops).
What can I do?
this is my pc configuration:
pulsar 1
P3 1000mhz
asus cusl2
video card voodoo4 agp
win 98se
196mbyte ram133
I tried to disable usb ,to change ram freq(100 and 133),to change pci latency,to set pulsar in slave and master mode.
The cpu isn't overclocked and pci freq is at 33mhz.
Help me please!
Maybe pulsar 1 doesn't function on fast processor?I need a pulsar 2?
I hope to find one with my configuration(with A15 too) and no problems!

that´s bad, what you have to tell! puh!

i´m no longer working with my A8 on my pulsar because i banned all this pulsarstuff to a second pc who´s only doing synthesis BUT: when i was working with my A8 on pulsar all worked fine. and the reason can´t be that your processor is too fast or something like this...
i remember that we corresponded before, didn´t we?

so, one suggestion: are you working with asio2 or with easi-drivers? then try working with asio(1) ... maybe there are some problems? and: if this is not working, then go to a musicaldealer in your town, explain your problem and try to test an other breakoutbox with adat to check if your A16 may cause the problems! it shouldn´t be that problem to take your pc to a dealer who also sales computing parts!???

The problem I think is not asio1 or 2 driver 'cause pulsar doesn't function with wave source module too!
A16 I think isn't brocken 'cause my pulsar works perfectly on my p2 400mhz with BX motherboard chipset!
I installed i815 driver too and I posses a 7200 hard drive(to respond to betman).

you can also directly connect the adatsource with adatdestination to see if the signal flow through pulsar crashes!? but you will already have tested it!!!???
