I have the win2000 version.
It worked on my old motherboard.
My key is not broke (it works under win98chubby).

I get 1 of 2 errors:
1) Install logig232.sys (I can find it, but how and where to install?)
2) Key not found

I just did a fresh install of winXP, and this time I get error 1.
I have tried uninstalling Logic, but that does not help anything.
I have tried different IRQs for the key, but that does not help either.

I am cursed again. As soon as my Pulsar starts behaving, Logic goes BOOM. And all that only because I have a Logic, that I actually paid for.

Cracks don't need a key.
Those who use cracks get all the joy for nothing.
I paid and got nothing.

Please help me someone. I spend all my spare time trying to get my PC set-up for music. Till now I am most rewarded with frustration.

Oh yeah, and I can not get to the Logic forum. I bought a version, that had been used in the shop, and it turned out someone else had registered it. The distributor has however promissed me, that I will be able to upgrade. But it leaves me with no pro support. I have tried an independent Logic forum, but noone could help me. It can not be true, that my system never can, what others' can. I am tempted to by gold4->platinum5 only to solve the problem. But that should not be the only solution. And in Denmark the price will be 600$ (wich I 1) do not have 2) will not pay for making my system do, what I allready paid it to do).

I'm not using XP ('til next week  ) but I read through the Tascam DAW advice(link by Sandrob) and it mentioned possible dongle problems with sequencers if you turn off certain services. Maybe that's it ?

Have a look here:
http://www.tascam.com/products/computer ... timize.pdf

On page 18 it says:
It’s strongly recommended that you not completely disable any services without knowing
what they do, and whether other programs or services depend on them. (Example:
disabling the Portable Media Serial Number retrieval, described in its profile only as
“retrieves the serial number of any portable music player connected to your
computer”, will disable the “dongles” used by programs like Cubase, Nuendo and
Logic.)

Thanks, that was an extremely usefull hint. Unfortunately. I have not even gotten to that stage of my new instalation yet. So the problem must (lye/lie (wich one is correct??)) elsewhere.

And the keyfix from Logic is the one, that changes my situation from problem 1->2.
