Hello, I got my Z-link LUNA2496 8ch stolen, and I am trying to find if someone sells it, but in meantime I wonder is it possible for other I/O interface such Focusrite Liquid Saffire 56 firewire, MOTU UltraLite mk3 FireWire, ALESIS io26 firewire audio interface, etc to work with Scope 7 and Creamware PCI with 3DSP + 6DSP booster pci card. Of course I would need PCIe to firewire adapter for most of interfaces.
Thanks guys. :)

What i/o bracket(s) are on your Scope Card(s)?

What you want is either an ADAT converter, or if you have a bracket with Z-Link you can get an A16/A16 Ultra (which were made by Creamware/Sonic|Core)

Firewire?
no. the Z-Link connection is NOT Firewire!

there are plenty of ADAT interfaces that will work for adding i/o, however.

The 6 DSP Booster Card is probably without the io-board...
I have a spare Z-Link io-board (and can part with it). Drop me a line if interested and location fits. I‘m in Germany.

I know that Z-link is not firewire. I asked would other firewire interfaces with PCIe fireware adapter would work with my 6dsp board and v7 software? 6dsp booster board has no I/Os.

there are no I/O brackets, its just 6dsp booster card.

the i/o card will attach to the booster card.

no, a firewire interface won't be easy to integrate.

If you'd find a firewirecard, which offers Asio drivers, you might be able to connect it by connecting Asio.
I never tried this and it might become tricky to get the master/slave clocks correct.

If I had all components already, I'll probably try.
The safer way is to get an IO board for scope.
