Has anyone expererienced such a configuration?

I plan to get either a Luna II with the STS-5000 or a PowerSampler II card.

Will it run OK on a G3/333 beige G3?

I don't know if it work on Mac, probably, but if you get the STS5000, i strongly suggest more DSP than the 3 luna one. You won't be able to get full power of the STS5000. Maybe 26voices, probably 16 voices if any effect is loaded....

Pulsar with 6DSP is more up to the job.

It's not machine depending but your card: more dsp chips, more you can use:
sts 3000 - ok
sts 5000 - probably you'll need more dsp power...
