Am new to this, and wouldn't mind some advice on recording from the mixer output in Pulsar 2 to make a wav file on the hard drive, via Logic (4.

. Is this relatively easy? I've just made some tracks and are ready to 'cut' them to wav, advice would be well appreciated, as I am getting lost in the Logic 'bible', maybe then I can upload them! Cheers

if you mean that you have midi tracks and you want to record the outputs of the synths to logic then it's pretty simple.first, b4 opening logic place your mixer in the pulsar workspace and add a couple of asio modules(1 source,1 dest both your choice of 16,24 or 32 bit)decide how many logic inputs and outputs you need and set them in the appropriate window(click on the modules to find options) connect the modules to your mixer and open logic.(if you have midi traveling into or out of pulsar,be sure to have the right midi modules connected as well BEFORE you open logic)the next step depends on where the synth is.if the synth is in the real world, audio will come in the audio ins or the adat ins and the proper module again needs to be connected to the mixer.(logic can already be running during this step, however)if the synth is in pulsar then the audio will come from the module in pulsar.connect accordingly.if the synth is in logic then the audio will come out a logic output.(already connected. beware of creating a loop in logic from assigning the synth outpu to the same number as the channel it will be coming back into!) assign the channel to a recording bus in the mixer or use a channel with a direct out.(to a sequencer dest module) in logic, choose an audio channel, select an input, record enable and fly.
seems ridiculously complicated but have no fear.it's really the same steps you would have to take with hardware!
