Hi,

I have a Lenovo W540 laptop with 32 bit Windows 10 and Scope v7, because as we all know, STS doesn't work on 64 bit, and I desperately want to go through the Scope Vocoder device presets to hear what they sound like. I already went through all of the presets in the Orbitone Vorb Vocoder (I really like the default setting of it, with no presets selected), but I can't go through the presets of the Vocoder III and Vocodizer with the routing setup that I have chosen (Inspiration from this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=-_oTDVOSC88, this user is using Scope v5) because the Midi In box on the left is blank and doesn't show anything when I click on it.

Does anyone else experience this problem? Are there any workarounds?

Have you clicked on the arrow in the bottom right corner? All connections should be displayed. It is possible that the Midi In is listed here. This happens if the device is not properly configured

Why you don't open the preset browser by using the button at the device's panel right top corner.

In scope there are some inconsistencies you shouldn't really care. Most devices work ok.either case.

With a vocoder normally you feed a signal and a separate voice signal to properly hear the effect. some devices offer onboard sound synthesis but a vocal signal is generally needed.

Also I wouldn't recommend using (breaking your hand) with the "midi keyboard device". Connect a midi keyboard and a sequencer to test everything with more conveniense
