Can anyone help me out here?
I just downloaded the SDS drumsample player, which looks awesome, but can't seem to load any samples!
If I try to drag them from the file browser, the device window closes, and nothing happens when I click on the "No Sample" field.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark

This might have to do with Pulsar following your mouse, or better, activating the View which is below the mouse. Try closing Project and other Views, so the project is not on top of your device (I think it doesn't disappear when you failed loading a sample, but that the Project View jumps up in front and 'takes' the sample.
Also, keep in mind the samplers don't want header information in your samples. Using soundForge or so you could run a batch to get those headers out.

Thanks for the help, but I don't think that's it. Everything else in my Pulsar works flawlessly.
Are you supposed to click on the field in the SDS that says "no sample"?
If I click on any other field, something happens, but not that field.

You drag a headerless, MONO .WAV file into a slot, and it works. If you're using SoundForge or other audio editors that automatically add header information to your .WAVs, then it will refuse to load. Otherwise, headerless, MONO .WAV files do work, and SDS is great, if not a little DSP hungry... very convenient for drums though!

So i think we'll have to keep double samples. Or are 'loop points' and 'loop lenghts' not 'headers'? I don't mind removing all copy right and such from a sample, but loop pointsare quite handy/necessary.
