I have a Luna 11 card. I need more effects and DSP etc. I am considering buying a Pulsar XTC Pro to put with it. What would be the advantage if any compared with a Pulsar 11 card as a stand alone against those two cards together.

The software and I/O. With SCOPE Fusion when it is released, all cards will finally share the same OS, but with a new "full" Pulsar card, you'd get the synth & fx & mixer bundle with it -- currently you get ProPack! (Mod2+STS3000+Pulsar ProMixer,Lightwave,fx, etc). It's a really nice bundle for sure. Depends if you want the extra stuff and the 'full' Pulsar card - but an XTC w/ IO is definitely a cheap way to add more DSPs to your Luna.

I love to comment on questions like this
I had a Luna 2 board and upgraded to Pulsar 2 and XTC. Run, don't walk to your nearest Creamware dealer and just DO IT! You will be so happy you did. The richness of the FX packages and synth devices in Pulsar makes the whole thing so worthwhile. You'll thank me, believe me. Luna seemed half-baked to me. Pulsar (with a few exceptions) works so much better - in almost every way.
And btw: Subhuman will give you a great deal on whatever you want. Tell him krizrox sent you and he will knock another 25% off the cost

(just kidding Seth!!!)

I have no doubt now. Full pulsar is it. Subhuman 25%!!!!!. HEh, HEh, HEh. That' your profit he is talking about. If I could only get a deal for my Luna 11. I guess I am stuck with it. I want to run Pulsar 11 with other Pulsar cards only. Subhuman where are you located?
