Hello,

I’d like to begin my journey with scope and Im considering the Scope Professional Plus PCIe card. The vendor advised me that he is unsure if it will run Scope 8.0 as it is older hardware.

Can you guys confirm either way and, if not, is there a more recent PCIe option on the market?

Thanking you,

Orix

Scope Pro is PCI card, like the other ones too.
Pci-e card is just card for use with XITE-1.
I guess it should work with Scope 8.0, like all Scope versions till now.
I'm running Scope 7 with Windows 10 64bit and Scope 5 with Windows 11 64bit.

the vendor?

anyway, the current version is v7 and as mentioned above, the card is a PCI card, NOT a PCIe card.
yes it works with v7.

XITE-1 is most recent and most future-proof and is PCIe. It's the better solution but the older PCI cards should be fine to if your computer supports the older PCI standard.

Thanks for the replies guys.

So it is a PCI card, noted.
The vendor is JRR, Garyb.

I’m feeling confident that the cards should be alright then.

I couldn’t find any info as to how much power they chew but I’ve decided to allocate 100w of power supply capacity in the host unit, that should be more than sufficient.

What about XITE-1D?
