Hello there,
I'm using a brand new Pulsar with software version 3.0 along with Logic 4.5. Each Often times after starting my sequence, after a few seconds, the Pulsar synth (Inferno) will play a certain note (I think it's the same one each time) and not stop until I disconnect the MIDI source in the routing screen.
So basically I'm getting an extra NOTE-ON message for no apparent reason. Any ideas on how to remedy this would be EXTREMELY appreciated!
THANKS!

Are you using a Roland A33 controller ? If so then you must disable the clock send.
- just a stab !

Nope, I'm not using that controller, but THANKS for replying. Acutally, I think it *may* have had something to do with my Pulsar slightly overheating, as I currently don't have a separate fan for it. As soon as I powered down, and then restarted with the side panel of my tower case off, the problem went away and hasn't returned since.
So, if you can recommend a good and *quiet* fan that I could use for the Pulsar, that too would be very appreciated. Otherwise, thank you so much for your input!

This guy is a real pointy-head, but his advice is good:

o'heat problems only occur when the computer's been running for a while.
I had 3 Creamware cards, LAN, pci audio card and AGP, 2 cpu's and 4 hd's without extra cooling. I admit it got warm there, but still no errors due to that.

Monitor the midi stream and see if you're getting extra garbage data that needs to be disabled...

Thanks for the replys! As for the overheating issue, the computer had indeed been on non-stop for a few nights, so by your estimation, overheating could have been the culprit. In fact, since I've removed the side panel on my tower case, the problem has stopped. However , if it creeps up again, I will definitely monitor the MIDI stream and see what's up there.
THANKS again everyone,
