I play with my fingers I don't use a plectrum; I never could handle it properly, perhaps because I've always been a bass player. That is why the sound of the guitar has a strong character, and nevertheless, a softer decay.

What I like most here is the way harmony develops.

The drums remind me of Billy Cobham.. and the melody.. I gotta admit... this is too complex, I know it's making sense, but it's way over my capability. But I can understand you're sort of morphing between different dialects.. wonderful.

Hi Ken, thanks for your kind comments on this song.

The melody in fact, is not as complicated as it seems to be. This impression comes from the tempo most of all, and the shifting rhythms which goes quite fast. This kind of music cannot be understood with just a couple of listening times, you need to listen a it several times to be able to fully feel it. Most fusion jazz music is like that I guess, and you need to learn a bit the bottom line first, to completely understand the melody.

I've made this song with a Sound Blaster 64 and Cubase 1.0, this was my first sound card and my first program. Then I kept the MIDI file and reconstructed it with Pulsar, and put the Yamaha RGZ 312 on top, doing the melody and the solo that was formely made by sort of a trompet.

But... unfortunately, if you pay close attention, you are going to hear some little noises comming from the background, this is the guitar that was badly recorded, but I kept it because there was just the feeling.
