I just got a new problem.A terrible noise followed by "burning needle forrest" sound come now and then.
It happend both with asio and wawe drivers. After that there is no sound before I reload the project.
I just installed a Pulsar1+ which was use for demo in a shop. Now I have pulsar 1 and srb and pulsar puls all on the same IRQ.
I have a brand new asus culs2c 1GHz .Does anyone have experience with this problem.
It sounds like sick hardware doesn´t it?

Or a digital clocking/sync error... what other gear do you have physically connected to your cards?

Thank you.
That is absolutely possible since I most of the time sync to either sp/dif (TC M2000) or adat (converters). In fact one time I solved the problem by syncing to pulsar.Would it be more safe to use AES/EBU from M2000?

If you have EBU on both -go for it!! If not, you have to look for the most stable clock in your chain. Play with Master/Slave settings, it might bring clarity. If it's clock related.

Unfortunatly it must be a defect board.I deinstalled it and every runs fine for hours.

Ok.I checked the card alone in the computer and that worked. So the cart is ok.I think it could be the way I distibuted the carts in the PCI slots that caused the ugly sounds.
Could that cause bad sync inbetween the 3 carts?
Then
slot 2 pulsar1
3 pulsar 1+
4 scsi cart
5 SRB
NOW
slot 2 pulsar1+
3 pulsar 1
4 SRB
5 SCSI

On CUSL2:
Use Slots 1+5, force their IRQ in the BIOS, connect via STDM. Remember to reinstall the drivers/software after physically moving the cards around.
If you have 3 cards, use slots 1+2+5, and force 1+5 and 2 to share an IRQ in the BIOS.

Thanks.I`ll try that, but I was always told than it´s no good to use slot 1 because it conflicts with the grafic cart.Isn´t it like that on Tuls2c (my board)?

All motherboards/chipsets provide different slot/irq sharing relationships so such a rule doesn't really have any bearing on reality.
Yes, the way I describe it will work perfectly on your board... worked for me and 100s of others.
