Hi,
STM mixer eq presets also save other loaded plugins settings.
For example I have rmx reverb in aux, when i save eq preset, this saves also the rmx reverb positions.

is there a reason for this ?

Hi, I have tried to save presets on STM channel Eq, then I tried to recall it and it seems to only recall the Eq settings.
What do you mean by "rmx reverb positions"?
You mean that it also saves the Aux send level on the same channel of the Eq?

No, not the aux send. Neither the stm compressors. But the plugins loaded on the channel, save also their positions, those loaded on a channel of the stm2448, or plugins that are loaded at aux(not aux sends of stm) Those save position as well when I seve stm eq preset.
The same happens when I save preset of stm compressors. All loaded plugins save positions as well. Could you verify please??

Ok, just to clarify if I understood right, you loaded the RMX160 as insert on the AUX1 insert slot and when you save a preset on one of the STM channels EQ, it also saves the AUX1 insert slot status by reloading the RMX160 when the EQ preset is recalled?

Ok, I tried it and I can confirm that saving the preset on the channel EQ, also stores the settings of the loaded plugin inside the AUX slot.
At the moment I only tried with the RMX160 inside the AUX1 slot and PSY Q on the AUX4 slot, so I think it will work for all of the of the AUX insert slots.
I used the STM a lot over the years, but never used the AUX return insert slots. This is clearly a bug.

Also on 4 slots of a channel this is happening. Which is more of an issue, because it messes up with loaded plugins of the channel.

I don't remember where we report the bugs.

Also, i have pci cards with 5.1 scope. Does it happen with scope 7 or 8 ?

I tried it on Xite-1 with Scope 7 and on PCI system with Scope 5.1, Scope 8 still not available.
i think this is not a Scope bug, but a device specific one.
With the SDK we could try to check if some preset link can be edited to avoid this behavior, I'll take a look tomorrow.

not really.
this is scope preset engine v2 insert logic.
additional insert loaded devive plugin parameter will automatical added to all preset list in parent device container.
because all presetlists are organized in the first/parent device container, all lists are involved, sorry.
for developer, you would have to create separate containers to solve the reference object automatic connection.
i think the god old preset engine v1 is better in handling with insert slots and postloaded reference objects.
i also offered holger free support for the stm2448 same years ago, but he doesn't seem to want it.
... e.g. i fixed the Rtn6 display bug (for me).
... and an integrated crossfader with A/B assignment would be on my wish list
