Very interesting. I would love to see S|C back on the stage with new offerings to shore up that side of Holger's undertakings.

Maybe SC unexpectedly goes "native" w/ a new USB-C audio interface and overhauled XTC application ?
IIRC, XTC was announced as a seprate application for the future after SCOPE6 never saw the daylight.
Well, I´d appreciate to see an extension box for XITE-1´s XTDM port,- whatever that would be,- and prefer that over any "native" solutions.
But that´s only my wet dream.

Using Joana in the studio has more of a ring to it

Be good if Holger decided to go head to head with UAD’s Volt !

But there are so many USB audio interfaces on the market, do we really need another one ?
I bought a mint RME Babyface for 200.- incl. breakout cable, PSU and orig. bag,- just only to have one.
It´s really good w/ Totalmix FX and Digicheck tools.
But no way do I get the low latency I get w/ SCOPE/XITE and SCOPE ASIO.
I´d say it´s almost impossible w/ USB.
I recognized, almost any USB-C interface is USB2 only.
OTOH, I can imagine Holger put a nice DSP inside.

Doesn’t have to be USB. TB4 works good. Or the same HDMI adaptor as xite

When you have a motherboard supporting TB4.
None of my machines does,- DAW desktop machines "no TB at all", both laptops "TB2",- I guess,- maybe "TB3" at best.

"HDMI" adaptor for Xite-1 has nothing to do with HDMI except for the connector.
Similar to Z-Link recycling old good FireWire connectors while not being at all FireWire.
Connection between Xite-1 and Mono is achieved using PCI-e or PCI-Express interface (which are just the same: one for tower PC and the other for mobile PC) but both interface are becoming quite rare on nowadays computers ...
Would be a good idea though to have Joana has a new kind of Xite using TB4 (using the USB-C part of TB4 which would make such a device also USB-C compatible I guess), then providing an XTDM interface to allow the extension of a Joana using an "old" good Xite-1 ...

Yeah,- don´t want a "new XITE".
XTDM interface would be my 1st choice,- something compatible w/ the network standards used in pro studios andfor big events (PA),- AES67, Dante, Ravenna.
I can imagine a small box containing the card and 2 (primary/secondary) Neutrik professional RJ45 connectors connected to XTDM via a short standard D-Sub cable.
Would offer lowest latency possible,- better than using Dante Virtual Soundcard w/ Dante Controller and ASIO.
Way under 1ms,- 32x32 channels,- possibly 64x64 channels up to 96KHz too ... I guess.

Mine does and all future machines will. Wouldn’t be without it these days. Also, what’s to say Joana won’t be Mac compatible ? Getting into that market wouldn’t be a bad thing for S|C
Holger asked what we would want it to be. My answer is something for the future.

Network interfacing similar to Metric Halo and MOTU stuff would be amazing.

I guess, PC´s most TB connections will be combined TB/USB-C still.
Up to now, it was confirmed these don´t work well w/ SCOPE realtime processing.

Everyone. Mainly Holger's but I don't see any reason to exclude anyone when we don't even know what it is
e.g. if it was a PA transmitter, Id probably wouldnt buyed it but i'd like to see Holger make some $$$ out of it.
