Jeff Beck is gone!

One of my favorite musicians, guitarist and composer is gone. Jeff Beck. Instinctive, direct and extremely sincere, this brother played without paying much attention to the ornament, but lots of attention to the "meaning" and the "human feelings" that comes spontaneously from within. There are out there, much better "technicians" but without a heart, that was NOT the case with Jeff, what a great expressive heart that was, what a unique guy. Thank you brother Jeff for all the joy your great music gave to my heart, bless you and be well beyond this earth.

Yeah,- I was shocked already last nite when it came in the news.
He´s my favourite guitar player since decades,-
unique tone, unique playing techniques, always tasteful w/lots of power.
I´ve met him in person in 1999 .... friendly and humble person, no rock star attitudes.
It´s horrible he had to go because of damn menengitis and it´s a big and unexpected loss.

Wow, how cool you met him and what you say that he was humble, glad to hear that. Many of his songs are also pretty nice, they remain interesting over time too.

I think he needed a drummer coz Robbie Bachman has just joined him.
