I don´t understand ...
What is it really,- 14 DSP SCOPE Pro or 15 DSP Power Pulsar ? (there should be a sticker on the card w/ that info) -
IIRC, Scope Pros were 14 DSP/gen 2 always,- and there were 15 DSP gen1 or gen2 Power Pulsar cards out there.
So,- is it gen1 or gen2 ? (What was the lowest latency you got w/o crackles/drop-outs ?)

:)

Its the 15 DSP Power Pulsar. PD: 27.01.03, it doesn't say anything about 1st or 2nd gen, don't have a working PCI pc to test the latency.

On Ebay you posted "Original owner, was in working condition in 2018. Haven't tested since"
and "Bids above 1000,- will result in a sale"

I would be interested if you could prove it to be in working condition now - and for a realistic price, which in my experience would more be around 300

Yeah, it´s risky always.
Cards can be detroyed by wrong handling while being removed from computer as also wrong storage.
And some put ´em on any kind of surface for the pics needed for ebay.
Some put ´em on top of antistatic bag which doesn´t protect the card at all, does the opposite instead because only the inside protects.

So, once it´s removed from a computer for a longer time, it´s a untested card and should be sold as defective.

LOLest !
I didn´t read everything before, so thank you for the hint !

I already wondered what "Device code onboard with v5 licence" means for that sale.
I´d like to see the keyfile/ list of all the previously installed software/devices.
A seller MUST provide keys !

Obviously he cannot because of (supposedly) no legacy (5Volts) PCI slot machine available.

I just took it out for the pics, the pc harddrive died 4 yrars ago ago and was a scusi, also unfindable and not very affordable disks, so kinda fed up with working with old stuff.

I've seen several similar cards being sold online for 800 to 1500 dollars in the last two years so I don't think it's that crazy for a unit in this condition.

Keys will be provided 100% and I will guarantee working condition, refund definitely if its really defective upon return.

Not true.
This is the basic SCOPE 5.1 coming w/ the card.

Most used 14/15 DSP cards being sold were ~ EUR 500 - 800,- and included (expensive) optional devices,- Creamware & Sonic Core (Prodyssey, Protone, SixString and Modular IV) as also other 3rd party developers like DAS, Zarg, etc. already.
I don´t find any optional or 3rd party devices in your list and there´s also not a Scope v7 included.

And a younger Sonic Core 14 DSP Scope Pro is worth more than a older 15DSP gen2 Power Pulsar, just only because of age.
Cards w/ Pro Plate (vs Classic Plate) are also worth more because that´s more rare and professional (balanced analog I/O) studio standard w/ AES/EBU I/O (on XLR) in addition.

I myself, I wouldn´t pay more than 350,- for your card w/ just only Scope v5.1.

Anyway, good luck w/ the bidders over @ebay.nl

Hi @Bud,

Thanks for finally making this clear, I'll wait to see what the bidding lands on and reconsider cost vs benefits. Getting a new pc, upgrading to v7 and pulse16 or just going ahead with the sale.

^^^^^^
What astroman said.

I already own 3 Pulsar- and 1 15DSPgen2 PCI cards as also XITE-1,- so I don´t need another one urgently.

Ebay is one of these places where you never know what happens,- bad luck or win.
When the card doesn´t cross the EUR 350,- mark, take it away from ebay as "not available anymore" and offer here again.
