Nice to see you message with a view to returning to share more insights.
Looking forward I hope you envisage a full recovery!
I don’t see room for further myopic gags n puns, I just hope this message isn’t removed by the moderators like my get well msg, this is a much cleaner msg and doesn’t feature a monkey’s cock so should be ok to pass censorship
Stay well!

Hey everyone this is dawman jr. again, unfortunately pops passed away today. I’m deeply saddened by the loss but happy that he had a community here that felt the wrath of his mean keyboard skills and personality. I can remember him logging on to our old dial up PC when I was a boy just to feverishly come on here and blast you guys with his usual rhetoric. He kept me updated with the events on the forum, and he talked about all of you like buddies that hung out every weekend. I will miss him forever as I’m sure you guys will as well. When it comes to his musical inclination, I have crater sized footprints to fill, there will never be another dawman/diaper Jim/mamba Jim/dyp , Ankyu.

I am shocked and saddened to hear your very sad news. Your dad was a true force here on this forum and although I never got the chance to meet him in person I am sure he was a real character at home.
It is largely his influence that got me into expanding my studio with more hardware synths and outboard gear, and he was a fountain of knowledge on related subjects.
Scope forums will not be the same without him and we will miss him deeply.
My condolences to you and your family for your loss.
Tim

Such a loss, Jimmy was so „personal“ even in this virtual part of living he seemed like a well known friend to me.
His humor, sarcasm and sprit will be missed deeply.
my condolences to dawman jr and his family, too
sad and broken hearted, Tom

Thank you to his Son for keeping us in the loop, and for touching base via email when we have reached out. Very sorry to hear about Jimmy's passing, his sardonic sense of humor was always welcome and somehow was infinitely grounding in a space where we harken to the last generation (Z) under our guidance as musicians and storytellers. Now Jimmy has gone to tell his story to a better audience, and I hope to hear his humorous anecdotes again someday...
