JAHADJI BHAI

Post by Farmerbrown »

Sharing all my poorly made videos. It's more common people expect a video so I've upgraded lighting and cameras since then. This was made back in September for another super talented musician I work with. Steel pan is his specialty but he can play just about anything. Now that he's retired he works on his music 24/7. The idea of lip syncing for the video wasn't exactly clear to him and we didn't have a lot of time. Oh well. As usual, recorded and mixed on Xite1.

Cool. Good harmonizer in those bits where there were 4 of him. I always wondered how those steel pans worked.

Very special instrument. Wouldn't want to live next door to pan maker. Hours of pounding steel with a hammer. :( Tuning takes a few days. He owns a full orchestral set and manages/directs/arranges for a full orchestra. The last few years have killed that project.
