Feral 6/4 FM Synths

Hi There,
My first go at building Synths.
Turned into something a lot bigger than I expected.
Attached is a couple of FM Synths.
Also included is 'Feral Twins' which brings both synths into one device.
With Feral 4 I was able to get 6 voices in XITE-1, but on my Pulsar 2 only 2 voices.
Feral Twins 2 voices in XITE-1 and only 1 on the Pulsar PCIe.
There is a short PDF included that might help you get to grips with these devices.
I am still exploring sounds as I am sure there are many more possibilities.
Will upload preset updates at some stage.

I hope you like them.
Regards
maus

Looks cool. Kinda like some old school 90’s plugs but I like the knobs 👍

These sound really good. They definitely eat up dsp's but the good news is the presets change smoothly without having to re-distribute
I ramped them up to 8 voices on my Xite-1 and 36dsp PCI no sweat.
Thanks a bunch mausmuso!

Thanks Guys
I know they eat DSP, I am not proficient in optimisation unfortunately
I would like to add more modulation options, but I run into connection issues when I try to do that.
Maybe in time I will get to understand how to optimise.

Sorry maus, I didn't mean that as a criticism, just an observation for those with 4-6 dsp cards. To me good quality is worth the DSP and I am profoundly grateful for your work and generosity.

No issue, I agree with you.
I was just lamenting my lack of optimisation skills

in sdk, you could probably add a lot more connections using the "on same dsp" attributes of the device/module (val=1) when building. but you must desactivate it for scope/xite users, before saving the device 'val=0 or -1 can't remember right now, it must show "not set" once reloaded). In sdk it has the effect of redistributing connections, and so you might add more stuff to your device. Optimization is about unfolding a few stuff to remove unecessary exported pads (it does not save that much though), or trying to minimize the number of modules used to achieve a certain function, when possible. it can break a device when done afterward or change it too much so it's a good idea to keep the old versions just in case.

Thanks SpaceF,
I have played with 'on the same dsp' and have noticed I can get more connections at times. Wasn't convinced I knew what I doing though.
Thanks for the tip regards deactivating it for Xite.
I have noticed that when I hit connections issues, I can save and reload the project and usually that will redistribute things and allow me to keep adding new connections.
I have learned the hard way that keeping old versions is a good thing :D
