So I guess it IS going well for a select few at the center of the storm. Phew...I was worried about big pharma getting through this in one piece. The average Joe on the other hand...well, just keep your head down, your mouth shut and hope for the best.

Not being the right age I had to wait.

After a good friend passed away at 66 years old I started to take things more seriously.
Surprised it was Pfizer.
Thought only the politicians that said they wouldn’t take the Trump vaccine got the good stuff.

They also said they would move from the USA if Trump won.
Guess they liked his tax plan enough to stay.

I'll wait for the human trials to end (Ankyu for your service...no, that's not sarcasm) and take my chances with the 99.88 survival rate we have up here. Just not comfortable with experimental mRNA gene therapy. I'm like that with new technology. It's kinda like waiting 2 years before going to Scope 7.

Well if half the politicians, all of hollywood/tech/media didn't convince you....then surely The Offspring will work.

It was fun watching 'science' get turned into 'scientific consensus' in UN parlance (consensual reality is what defines science, right?), and then 'herd immunity' get rephrased as a % of vaccinated (rather than % of those immune by natural causes or any causes)...

Anyway hardly surprising. And for what this will really turn into, cue some post-Monty Python sardonic humor as our un-elected leadership positions bring the global population plenty of reasons to affect the British penchant for dry wit in the face of ludicrous bureaucratic nonsense.

What bothers me is the stupidity of mixed messaging.

Politicians last Winter said no, I will not get the “Trump” vaccine. Then they butt to the front of the line once President Harris won. No big deal. I’m used to these folks lying, they’re crappy lawyers, to be expected.

Then don’t wear a mask by CDC turned into yes, wear a mask because we were worried first line medical workers would not have masks. O Kay. I’m still with these fumbling fools, wearing masks/gloves, social distancing, etc.

At that point I figured I’d play it safe and continue with suggested guidelines.

But then these idiots started saying you have to keep wearing masks and social distance after vaccinating.
Doesn’t make sense to discourage getting the vaccine? Why bother if nothing is going to change, and you might need a 3rd shot?

Despite the incompetence of these newly elected “leaders” I’m still following the guidelines, but I can;t believe the stupidity they continue to display, and definitely ponder why refugees, untested, and released into our community are not to be worried about?

Then these “leaders” wonder why Americans don’t believe them, or the billionaire owned media that lied to us for over 5 years now.

Doing concrete demo work we wore serious respirators, during the worlds deadliest disease we wear these “masks” many which aren’t even N95.

My wool is thick.

If only it could end in a colossal send-up of Pythonesque (Cleesean?) proportions it would STILL vacillate between equal parts fiendish, tasteless and mirthful for all concerned. Eww...Argh...Ha!
