Just went crazy and bough scope 7 and the sdk

Yeah, I know, but I really enjoy fiddling around, and who knows, there might even come out some devices from time to time:)

Meanwhile, where can i find the SDK manual?
And the mod 3 manual?
I have poked around in the scope sdk folders (and scope 7 folder), but I cant find any manuals.
Did a couple of things in reaktor before, so it should be pretty straight forward, but i'm sure I will need the manual no matter what.

Thanks:)

use the v5.1 manual.
there is no SDK manual, it is self-serve, but there is some documentation if you search Z

ok. thanks.
Regarding the scope 7 manual I cant find it? In the scope window i press the "?" and there is a menu called manual, but nothing pops up when I press it.
Weird. Will check the link out though.

Good for you. SDK is very challenging, I've found it useful primarily for saving devices with midi assignments. It's also hard to find information and resources. Here's an ~1GB folder of SDK stuff that is not very well organized but should be helpful. The unlocked versions of the DerKnott devices are very instructive.

Should I archive that?

Valis, it's a mess, but it's everything I've managed to scrape together about/for SDK so it would be a good idea.
Along those lines, I should have a pretty comprehensive and organized collection of free plugins ready in a few weeks, I'll let you know when it's ready.

Thanks a lot Peter.
Right now I'm just trying to get my head around basic navigation. Having worked a lot with reaktor I know the basics of visual programming like this, but still there are many things i need to learn. Just basic navigation and understanding of words etc (what they mean in a scope context).

Just got through a decent bit in the "first time use" doc.
Will complete the "first time use" completely and then start making my own simple synth, just to get a basic understanding.

Hmm.. Have gone through all the documents and also the neutron synths.
None of the synths open up correctly since they are made with older versions of the SDK, so I can't really test anything. The different modules don't have the same names in the current version of scope, so I don't know what atoms they use.

I'm just trying to create a simple synth (for starters). Midi in. One oscillator. One env generator to control volume.
Have it set up and it "works", but I get a weird delay everytime I play a note. Hard to explain.

Does anyone have a synth layout for a simple synth that they are willing to share? Maybe Faxi?

Something dead simple to start out with, that has a simple signal path with minimum modules.

Would really appreciate it! I could have a look at that and make sure I'm using the right approach.

Thanks:)
