Its says "How do I edit or delete a post?
Unless you are a board administrator or moderator, you can only edit or delete your own posts.'

However, I sometimes click 'Quote' instead of 'Edit Post' and end up having to type a full stop because it wont let me delete my own errant post even though there are no postings after it.

Link the post and I'll check the permissions for it, it might be forum specific (ie, the area its in). Also note that you can delete a post whether or not there's another post after it, but you may not be able to delete the first post in a topic if there's another posting after it.

Yea I saw it actually, after responding. Thanks for reminding me to check permissions on this sub-forum though!
