I've just upgraded my sytsem to a G4 which doesn't have serial ports and wondering how I go about using Pulsar's midi interface. Under my previous system I could NEVER get this to work and had to use a standard midi interface that plugged into my printer port. I then used my OMS application to recognise the interface. OMS doesn't seem to see the Pulsar midi in/out... any clues as to what I'm doing wrong?

oms v. 3.7.4 should take care of it.
Did you install the OMS drivers for the midi interface?

Hmmm... everything is peachy and the world smells of various kinds of scented flowers. Pulsar Rocks on the G4.
I installed OMS 2.3.7, then Pulsar and all is well. Can't think why it didn't work before... and now I really dont care

1. Experimenting with OMS leaded me to 2.3.7, too (I don't know if it is auto-suggestion or any resonable thinking, but at least it works fine for some time), the OS is 9.1.
2. It's a pity you're alone, now, but as we say in Poland:
Tego kwiatu
Jest pol swiatu
i.e. there is still half a population that are women
