i have just done a clean install of version 3.0 software on windows xp for the first time,

I didnt know this (even though i read the readme file from head to toe) that you can enable xtc mode and have some sort of vst plugin thing going on.

so pulsar asks me to select where to store the plugins and says i should've installed my sequencer first (bummer heres where i go wrong).

now everythings installed but im not sure whether my plugins are going into the right folders.

any tips on this will be appreciated.
+ any pulsar / windows xp tips.

pentium III 500
390 ram
xp
cubase 5.1

install pulsar, create a project with all your drivers for cubase to Profile, install cubase, profile your drivers, reinstall pulsar, pointing it to the VST plugin directory of cubase (to get the XTC plugins).

remember, you can't run XTC and pulsar mode at the same time, so disable XTC mode and restart pular if you're not using XTC.

XTC mode is best suited for final mix-down of audio tracks, where latency isnt important and you'd like to use other VST plugins along side cw stuff.
