Was there a version 6 for Scope drivers?

I have 5.1 currently on my system and it works great. I did buy the v7 on sale back in December, and didn't get around to installing it. I was wondering though, was there a version 6? I can't find references to it, and the instructions makes references from upgrading from version 5.1. I was just wondering if there was a 6, and what came with it? Not too happy how little came with v7, but was hoping there was more 'stuff' in 6 that would have made it in 7, and made it more worthwhile.

So is it really worth even upgrading if I already have 5.1 up, running and stable on my Win7 box? I had a devil of a time getting MIDI working on this box to work with Samplelord stand alone, although I could bring up the Scope synths and they would route MIDI and work fine.

is it worth it?

maybe. i doubt that any of your setup will change if you just install v7 into the v5 folder as is default.
v7 seems to sound a little better and it offers a few more plugins, plus it helps assure you of updates, but i think v5.1 works quite well and v7 is still Scope.

Do you mean that the idea of an open platform has been forgotten?
There will be no possibility in the future of running on Linux, MacOs ...?

A greeting.
