I'm not sure how I overlooked the development that has happened on this modular soft-synth, but it has become something really pretty nice.

Bluehell over at Electro-music.com has been working on this little wonder for a while. There is a whole lot to it, and it's free!

It's looks and operation are clearly based on the Nord modulars, but there's a lot of new modules added such as CSV player, wave players, and complex sequencers (Klee, for those into the DIY modular world) and such.

So, travelling laptops will be pleased to have a fix while in flight. Enjoy.

Thank you for this! I'm late to the party at electro-music.com. The other day I was looking at the links page at cwmodular.org and visited electro-music.com for the first time. Cool place, cool modular system. I'll have to try it out.

It is from the Netherlands!

But it still follows Clavia's color scheme for the Nord G2 editor.

53E7, ironically the electro-music site was originally focused around the Nord modular, just as the G2 series was released. It exploded into DIY and lots of other technical chatter since then. It also has a streaming channel and it's own live IRC/chat board.

Seems so, for now. Looking at the feature request list, it's on the list, but not looked at yet.

So, virtual midi and audio routing are needed for now.

I use loopMIDI (http://www.tobias-erichsen.de/software/loopmidi.html).

I haven't used a virtual audio router yet, but I'll probably start here:
