Hello,
why if I've installed Scope 5.1 64 bits in windows 64bits, the running process in the list of tasks appears as 'Scope.exe *32' ??
thank you for your help!

yes, it's a 32bit app, even the 64bit version. however, the 64bit version accesses RAM and CPU resources in 64bit.
there's nothing wrong.

many programs work this way. it makes no sense to completely rewrite all the code, when only certain parts need to be changed. as 32bit systems disappear, if they disappear, then everything will be written as 64bit code and only as 64bit code. since the underpinnings of Scope are pre-64bit, it makes sense to leave them as they are. it still took 2 1/2 years to complete v5.1 and have 64bit support for the cards.

thank you for your information garyb.
it seems that all is working well, there is no problem or error with the functionalities...
but...now i think that i could have installed my sfp 4.5 32b and the computer's perfomance would be similar.. don´t you think??
and i would have 159€ in my pocket!
i'm speaking without any rancor ehh

no. that wouldn't work.
v4.5 was made before 64bit computing or vista/win7/win8/win10. it won't run correctly.
the 32bit part of the app is the part that loads the dsps and handles the gui. the part that interfaces with the host computer is 64bit.
glad it's working
