Of course the number 9 (4+3+2) might not be of any significance with relation to musical tuning. I don't know. The patterns the numbers make fascinate me.

The silly thing is so many still believe it even when presented with evidence or even just common sense. You could pick any number and ascribe mystical shit to it.

There is a reason that Douglas Adams picked 42 as the answer to "Life, The Universe and... Everything" because you can pick any number and start seeing it everywhere. In fact someone has written a book on it. Do you really think Adams had all these other '42s' in mind when he chose the number? See here:

And I just discovered Douglas Adams 3 months ago ! It's a shame, I know... But in a uncomprehensible way, this writer is not well known in France. I can't explain why, nevertheless, everyone who has read his books becomes a fan. I decided to offer The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy to my nephew. I just knew he died at 49 years old... 2 years more and I'm his age... Gasp....
