Hi.......
I have Windows 10 and scope 5 - my Bigwig DAW runs OK but Reason 8 won't load (with Xite-1 as the audio interface in both cases).

When looking at the running tasks in Task master I noticed that the Scope software was identified as Scope (32) even though I downloaded the latest Scope 5 64 Bit.

Is this the reason why Reason (64 bit) won't load?

Any ideas (wasted 2 days at the week end trying to track this down) ???????

the app that loads the DSPs is 32bit. this has nothing to do with how the DSPs interface with Windows. that is 64bit.

have you tried the Reason patch?

this patch is from NI.

if it still doesn't work, try running reason in win8 compatibility mode.

Theres a bit of info here about Reason 7 on Win8 on the Challenges and Solutions page. Sometimes on my Win8 Reason fails to load first time so will try the patch above which is more automated than my manual hack.
