how to record Pulsar synths into Cubase?
i can record pulsar synths fine in cakewalk
but in cuabse mixer it can't get any signal
i can record vsti and REASON fine
but just can't record Pulsar synths
the midi par for pulsar synths are fine, just no sound in cubase mixer, so i can't record it

wire the modul's out's
to Asio Dest in's, than enable the vst inputs
in cubase (panels-vst inputs)
than set 1 of the vst mixer's channels to receive from 1 of the vst inputs (using the /R/ight side of the white button on top of the vst channel) than enable the channel (using the left side of that same button)
you can read more about this in either cubase/pulsar manuals.

Did you choose the ASIO Scope driver in your Cubase“s Audiosettings? Sounds like you just forgot...

are u saying 3.1 will fix that problem??
but i heard 3.1 gives more problem??
and i found out a way to let signal through cubase mixer, and rout signal to ASIO dest, but it's not doing me any good.
i can play my pulsar insturment when i enable the audiotrack in CUBASE and i can record it. but it only give me 2 track(stereo)
the other chennels in the ASIO dest won't give anysound.
but something wores, when i play the midi track i already recorded, no signal no sound in CUBASE mixer, but signal in my micro mixer ( i open 2 micro mixers, one for the pulsar insturments, then route to the ASIO dest...... coz i only have 2 chennel that give out singals...strange...)
in other words the midi track does transmite midi but no sound signal to ASIO dest
why is that?

Did you enable the Asio inputs in Cubase -> Panels->Inputs? Did you assign tracks to those inputs? Are you monitoring in Cubase?

already enable, otherwise i wouldn't even be able to record VSTi and REASON

The strangest things happens with cubase 5.1 on my computer also.
4 xample, 16(8) channels r sent from STS 2 ASIO, but VST INPUTS panel shows 18(9)!!!
16(8) of them r named "InX L,R pulsar 16-bit"
and d *other* 1 is *blank*...
Activating that 1, causes Cubase 2 Looose Asio Scope driver and Leaves the Asio Device
empty.
Also got that same problem like dxl, not all the time.
Cubase.... ur allwayes a BETA tester with steinberg

oh man.....that sucks........
then pulsar card is useless ............then...... i don't have to time and money to learn and get logic, i don't want to use cakewalk because it not support VSTi and REWIRE..............gee........
