My dilemna is this:
Where are all the outputs that go to 16-channel ASIO Dest? I can't find those on the PulsarMixer.
Yes, I read the fine manual but I just don't see it anywhere.

Thanks for your input!

The direct-outs are concealed by default to reduce the Pulsar Mixer footprint (you'll see why when you display them).
The option is on the Master Panel, bottom left corner - Global settings - "Hide Pads". Uncheck this ("light" goes out) and all your channel direct outputs are visible, doubling the size of the mixer display.

Thanks Db.
Got everything plugged in but I have no signal coming out of my PulsarMixer.
The VUs tell me sound is going into the mixer and I have the Monitor outs going to Analog dest. No sound is coming out...Any ideas?

For monitoring, are you using the "ctrl" (control room) or "std" (studio room) outs?

Sorry about the multiple posts. I don't know what happened here!

I use Ctrl to monitor. I'm still going through the manual to get to know all these busses and sends and returns...
Does anybody have a link to a site where signal flow is explained clearly? That's my main comprehension problem, I have a hard time figuring how all that works now. (It was easier for me when I used huge analog mixers and wires hanging all over the place )

Hi Paul. I'm not sure what you mean by
"I have no signal coming out of my PulsarMixer."
Are the individual channel VUs showing any activity? How about the Mix VU on the far left? Do these meters show audio happening but you get no sound to Analog dest.?

How about in Cubase - if you click the miniscule "IN" button on the VST channel mixer (for the asio channels connected to the PulsarMixer), does it show incoming audio levels? It should.

ps
I just noticed something in your original post "I have the Monitor outs going to Analog dest". Try connecting the CtrL&R (or StdL&R)to your analog dest.
The monitor outs can be used for this, but you have to activate the routing - it's easier to use the Ctr or Std outputs. I think the monitor outs are essentially a stereo aux send buss.
Clear as mud?

Hi Paul,

Maybe a little help if you get my setup:
ALL PulsarMixer Ins do not go to Mix, (get Green lite on track out) but to the 4 busses, which are going to the mix.
In MasterPanel, select tracks to bus (w stereotracks, complitmentary track jumps to bus automatically, ain't that nice?)

The Busses also go to 8 ASIOdest, for easy recording. 2stereo drumchannels, 2 stereo synth channels.

If you set Aux paths to 'External' in Channels View, they will appear in the project. If you keep them internally there will be no external chain and thus no Aux connectors on the Mixer in the project.
Btw, the Aux tracks I send to Mix too.

Have fun

Thanks guys. I'm going to try these suggestions out.

Dave, I did change from Monitor outs to Ctrl out. I use Logic, by the way, and I finally have in the inputting figured out.
