Sometimes a gift gives back

When given to the right people...
I wanted to give a little girl the gift of music. I think this is the best gift anyone can get. She's very young, but I think she'll be able to figure out Garageband eventually. I played around with it and it actually sounds pretty good. Playing in real time using the built in sound on a 2007 white MacBook.
All I wanted is a cheap 61 full size MIDI controller. Found one for dirt cheap. 100 CAD is a steal for something that's pretty much new.
I got a gift back. A key for genuine copy of Studio One 3 Artist (came with the MIDI controller). Many people on here said a lot of good things about this DAW. I am normally a Sonar user, but if this thing makes my life less complicated, I am ready to switch.
Many good things happening this year, so that left me very little time for Scope. But things will slow down eventually.
I have this feeling that 2016 will be the best year every in terms of just about everything.
