scope pci E0001A error but keyfile is ok

hello

im getting E0001A error opening scope pci 5.1 , i used this keyfile many many times before and i also tried older keyfiles for 5.0 and for 5.1

tried reinstalling scope , tried copy paste full scope folder

nothing works , can i do anything else before reinstalling windows?

my system is

win 7 64
scope pro 15 , pulser 2

i don't think that it's a software issue.
keys don't go bad. when Scope starts, it does a systems diagnostics. if it fails, then a warning is thrown up.
it might help to see a screenshot of the error message.

i just found out the problem , scope installation dont show my scope pro card only pulser2 which i dont have 5.1 or 5.0 keys to only 4.0 or 4.5 , all my new keys are for my scope pro card.

it doesnt show my scope pro card in device manager only pulsar 2


is there any hope maybe its the windows itself ? clean installation can fix this? i did play with net framework and visual c++ installations few days ago (installed/reinstalled several times bunch of
different versions)

any advice would be much appreciated

also tried to change the pci slots , reinstall scope drivers - no change windows shows only pulsar 2

are you sure that the Scope pro card is all the way into the slot?

you can try cleaning the card's contacts with a good commercial contact cleaner. you can also use 99% alcohol, but do NOT use less than 99% pure alcohol. you should at least get a "found new hardware" message when the card is recognized by windows. if the card is not recognized, it's probably broken...

yhea that's what scares me , i didnt get the "found new hardware" message at all , i'll get tomorrow some 99% ALC and clean it really hope its not dead

no change , windows dont see anything connected , no "found new hardware" message

Try swapping the two cards before you give up.

if the big card is broken, write to support and include a copy of your keyfile(s). if you return the broken card, we'll move the v5.1 license to the other card.

i tried million times over 3 different pci slots , pulsar 2 no problems in any of them but the scope pro card not being recognized by windows at all although its getting hot like its working

If I were in your situation, I'd do the following:

Remove both Scope cards

Pull apart the Scope Pro and clean the pins (I like Stabilent 22)

Restore only the Scope Pro and see what happens
